Toronto Maple Leafs Playoff Tickets
Hoping to check out some postseason NHL hockey live? Make sure you consider purchasing Toronto Maple Leafs playoff tickets this season. Throughout the years, the Toronto franchise has been one of the more consistent teams in all of the National Hockey League. The franchise, formerly known as the Arenas and the St. Patricks, won two Stanley Cup championships in their first five years of existence. In the 1930's, the Leafs made seven appearances in the NHL Finals, and in the 1940's they won the Cup on five occasions. In fact, Toronto's 13 NHL titles rank second all-time in league history. Certainly, in any given season, the Maple Leafs are a threat to make the playoffs, and even to make a run at a 14th Stanley Cup championship. And you could be one of the lucky few who could see it happen. Call your local ticket broker for details on how you can get your Maple Leafs playoff passes.
The First Ever Toronto Maple Leafs Playoff Tickets
As mentioned earlier, the Toronto hockey franchise won a pair of Stanley Cup titles before officially becoming the Maple Leafs. The first time actual Toronto Maple Leafs playoff tickets were available was following the 1928-29 NHL season. Two years earlier, Conn Smyth purchased the then-St. Patricks, renamed them, and changed their colors from green and white to blue and white. After missing the second season in both 1926-27 and 1927-28, Toronto managed to reach the playoffs in Smyth's third season as the club's owner. During that campaign, the Leafs won 21-18-5 on the season, earning 47 points and finishing in third place in the Canadian Division. Sadly, they were unable to claim the Cup in 1929, as the Boston Bruins took home that honor. Yet, they would go on to win the third Stanley Cup -- and their first under the Maple Leafs moniker -- following the 1931-32 season.
